Dungeon Overlord: Gold Problems?

do55

While reaching over 1,000,000 hate with the elves and not begin attacked for a around 5 days with the recent bugs it is almost safe to assume that Elf attacks are turned off. This is a shame since they are huge source of income for most high end players, so a good way to counter this to do some of the following:

  • Build 5 to 6 Steel Treasure Chest; these can improve your gold count by 5(1000%) and 6(1200%). The reason I suggest only 5 or 6 is because there are only 8 slots you can build on a vault and you do not want to fill them all up.
  • Do the following if you have multiply dungeons; it will improve your overall gold count daily.
  • Start Raiding! – Start raiding your Nabors whom are inactive, in a period of a day your neighbor will produce over 2,000 gold! so that is 4,000 gold by the end of the day and you have 4 neighbors so 4,000 x 4 = 16,000! (it helps)
  • Elf Raiding – Even at T3 you are not getting a lot of gold sometimes, 1,000 but mostly it is nothing like that. T2 does give you gold more often but with the less resources. However my major problem with this is; are you ready for those L100 Elves attacking by raiding t3?

Overall there are a few things you can do and I hope this helps, I am pushing for a L200 Thief and will post information about Military Base Raiding when I can but, it is hard these thieves are expensive.

Thieves L90 and L100

ThiefL90

So the last two weeks or so I have been lazy about posting about Thieves and Raiding T3. However, here they are L90 and L100 Thieves.  To the right is the L90 Thief, with him  you can start raiding T3’s with a minimum risk of detection.

ThiefL100

Here is the L100 Thief Kal, the 3rd Level 100 Thief I have trained. The L100 Thief can start raiding T3 Settlements Safely. However, T3S is has a thing about it, they hurt a lot. (Before the last few days with SOE downtime, and upkeep bug) They used to Trigger L40 Paladin’s and L80-L90 units in waves of 50 units! that can well hurt.  I’ll be posting about T3S soon I am waiting to see if they fix the settlement Raiding system before I post any finding’s I’ve collected the past three weeks.

L10 Succubus and Stuff

L10Suc

Well I decided to start leveling up 2nd Generation Monsters such as the Succubus. The Succubus is basically a replacement for the Orc, however it is not all around better and does have a major disadvantages like lesser Carry Limit (and for me this is huge! since I mainly raid to carry stuff). However, overall Health, Damage, Attack, Healing Rate and yes SPEED! and these are huge when leading an Attack Force however again maybe at higher levels it does pay off a little but currently I am a bit disappointed with the lack of Carry.

Now the Stuff:

So get this, I watched the Youtube video of biscuit and Bob, and how Bob doesn’t like Biscuit. Well I reached out to Bob and asked him if wanted revenge and I copied both the sent message and the replied message. Which will be blow this and such I found it greatly amusing how everyone now hates Bob whom did nothing but get a little nerd rage and such everyone is attacking Bob, BUT! I feel different why not support Bob! Rally to Bob’s side and protect him and attack all those that mean him harm! So I informally invite you to the Rally with Bob crusade. ^_^

The Fire Trap

firetrap

There have bee questions about how Fire Traps work lately so I figured I would make a video for everyone to clear up the misunderstanding about them: The video is simple and don’t mind my grammar and spelling There is no spell check! in mid typing hehe and so enjoy!

Someone sent me message. ^_^

danielovermatched

So I was doing my Raids against the world with my extra L1 Thieves and someone beat them up and sent me a message. After I got this message I giggled and replied “I’m going to attack you now”. He laughed it off which is cool, I mean he only saw my L1 Thieves and apparently he never heard of me. ^_^ shock but alright that does happen. So I than proceeded to send my weakest army of 4 Orc’s from my other sub city because they were closer, and so the video below will explain what happen.

Dark Elf hits L30

The Dark Elf is a ranged unit who can shoot up to 11 tilesDarkelfL30 away. They have the best DEF in all basic units. L30 raning to 112! If you have seen my videos than you must always have seen an Arrow shooting across the screen out of no where and that is the Dark Elf. The Dark Elf is also good exchange from the Orc, having better speed less carry limit though and HP but it makes  up for Speed, Damage and Attack Speed also having a high Healing Rate doesn’t hurt at all between the battles. Overall the Dark Elf is a great class to have in your dungeon the only real problem I have with them is that they require WAY too much Crysitite which in itself is a bitch to make.

Huh..1,300 damage?! and Epic Fail?

WarlockL70

That Sir, is correct a L70 Warlock does 1,300 damage! that’s a BOMB! going off against anything. Now with almost 3,000 HP he can withstand at least a beating hehe, but I am brining the Warlock all the way up to L100 but I’m doing it with 5 warlocks at once so it will take a while but. I am hopping with the level increase my theory is true that the range is increasing as well. Currently the L70 Warlock range is 2 tiles smaller than the Darkelf. But having these bad boys on Dungeon Defense will crush your enemies Elves and Orcs ^_^

However, not soon after upgrading Ralpha I noticed that I had a my usual 15 elf attacks over night and I started watching one. This pictular attack was so fail that even I couldn’t stop myself from sharing it. It was such a shock to see this level of fail. It was sad that my WHOLE dungeon took the day off. Enjoy.

The Attacks Begin.

I decided tonight that I would be launching a massive invasion across Ash Ridge – Solace. I have sent Thieves, Warlocks, Orgre’s and Orcs across the whole map. I’ve started my attacks at Plagueclaw 0,0 Ash Ridge and I will end at Broken Gloommoore 29, 27. I will note down every attack I’m am doing the notes will include Dungeon Materials, Player name and Defenses I’ve come across and I will also note who the Start Dungeon Belongs to.

Keep in touch for the all the updates and lovely reports for your own future raiding.

If you are looking on the site for the attacks information you can find it here [ Dungeon Overlord Attacks ] or to the right page bar. ^_^

Zap you lost 1,000hp Warlock hits L60

WarlockL60

Now as most of you know by now, Warlocks are one of the greatest units around, not only do they deal insane damage but they have huge range almost as big as the Darkelf. Also, warlocks provide you with your research points so you are almost always going to have warlocks about, but leveling your warlocks take time and lots of crystal and equal to that is Prim.Water however, the question is “Is leveling my Warlocks really worth it”. Answer: Yes Leveling your warlock as high as you can! Warlocks are cheap to maintain and they mulitipurpose with damage and research. At L50 Warlocks become Gods! but at L60 Well an L40 Orc (which most players have) has 7,040 hp that is only 7 hits!

My overall thought on them though is that Warlocks are amazing when it comes to DPS and Dungeon Defense but… They are as slow as Orgre’s and should never be allowed to leave home since One Square Movement takes 20minutes.

T2 Raiding Revised

This is a collection of information I have collected the past 3 weeks of raiding T2 Settlements or known as “Stronger Raiding Party” but for easier reading I’ll refer them as T2S. ( I don’t want to type out “T2 Settlement every time heh.)

(The following situation were from L40 to L80 Thieves, when I say “ One Raid “ that equals One Thief not a group of thieves)

T2S are located by T1S and always have protection so expect a fighting force for raiding, after a while. I will explain how HATE works in this stage in another post. While back in T1S raids you can only acquire 300 resources on an average and 400 resources on a rare chance. However, with a T2S your average resource gain is 1650, with a rare chance of 1800. Also, unlike T1S your rare chance of getting special resource is Primordial Elements such as (water, ice, fire, earth) but for T2s you get the other bunch of Elements like ( Dense Basalt, Deep Ochre, and Quicksilver) so getting these type of resources at a 1500 a raid can be very useful. However, the most common resource you will get is Leather, so much in fact that I have a storage of 50,000 and it is filled, and I cannot even sell enough to lower my storage.

Now the fun part-> How I got to farming T2S

   · I first make sure I had 5x Orc’s and 5x Warlocks all at L10 First before doing any raiding.

   · When all my Orcs and Warlocks hit L10 I started Leveling my Thief from L1 to L10.

   · Once my thief hit L10 I start raiding T2S solo, since a L10 Thief has enough storage to max out the loot gained, and so I start farming Leather from TS1

   · After I have increased my leather stock, I will start making Reinforced Leather at a higher rate to level my Thieves to L30.

   · While I am leveling my Thief to L30, I make sure I start leveling my Orcs and Warlocks to L40 as time goes by and BEFORE I start Raiding T2S

   · At L30Thief and L40Orc/Warlock I start raiding TS2 2/2 raids at a time for some reason when you do 3/3 they get caught at almost a 100%. I do this until my Thief is L40.

   · When my thief reaches L40 I start Raiding T2S 3/3. And, begin repeating the process until I have 5x (or however many you want).

   · Lastly, I make sure I have a decent trap system because the hate that I will bring down on myself is .. well Hard lol,

Some Facts about T2S

   · Enemies: T2S has a max level of 12 in the settlement that includes Rangers and Rogues.

   · Hate Enemies: For around 50,000-90,000 hate you will get a party of 14 to 17 ranging in level around 12 to 18 with a Paladin ranging from Levels 4 to 6.

   · Hate Enemies: For around 100,000 to 150,000 hate you will get a party of 16 to 18 ranging in level 15 to 20 with a Paladin ranging from Level 6 to 12.

   · Paladin’s drop Gold roughly around L4 = 2000 Gold and L12 = 20,000 gold.

   · Paladin’s are Fast, Strong and have plenty of HP

   · Loot from Raiding Contains Usually: Primordial Ice, Fire, Water, Earth, Iron, Crystal, Gold, Leather, Dense Basalt, Deep Ochre, Quicksilver and some Furniture.

Player Raid.

So I’ve been attacking players recently. Just sending 1 thief per dungeon and so I noticed that one of the raids I sent thieves on came back injured. So I looked why and I found something very interesting and I think you will too.  Enjoy this video.

New Video up.

If you enjoy please leave comments, Smile  and I may make more.

Stronger Raiding Party Settlement

“Stronger Raiding Party” Settlements are the second level installments in the NPC Settlements. It is recommended to attack these settlements with a minimum of x6 L26 Orc’s. However, sending Orc’s to attack these locations can take a lot of time, to minimize the time it does take to assault these locations it is best to use Thieves. Thieves are faster and can loot far more than Orc’s can, they can also loot the items you need without risk of losing your Army.
Unlike the “Pitiful” settlements you can gain significant more resources from here, for example; a L40 Thief can steal 1500 leather in a single run! However, enemies here are much stronger and come in greater numbers ranging from 4 enemies as high as 10, ranging from level’s low as 2 to as high as 13.

Raids on these also called T2 settlements can also yield higher tier resources like e.g. Dense Basalt, Ruby or higher equipment e.g. Turbo miners.

Current Study:

  • Level 30 Thief – Completed 9 out of 10 raids; was caught by x1Ranger(10), x1Rogue(12), x2Footman(5)
    • Comment: a L30 Thief can raid this settlement but has a chance of getting caught by Rogues and Rangers around L10 and L12. I suggest that you do not take the risk, since leveling a thief from 1-30 is expensive and timely.
I suggest that you level your thief up to L40 and raid away.
  • Level 40 Thief – Completed 20/20;
    • Comment: I have completed 20/20 with a L40 Thief, never caught and ranked in 4x the value of my thief in my first day in raiding this settlement. It is safe to send 1xThief(40) to raid but, you will max out their carry limit.

L1 Raids T3 Settlement Results!

As I mentioned before I sent out 5 L1 thieves to raid a T3 settlement to test my theory of level range of the inhabitants. I will show 4 out of 5, since the 5th has not landed yet  and add the 5th when it does.  So here they are.

Raid Results of Snugglevine (16,17)
(You’ll encounter 5 to 20, level 10 to 70 Elves)

All five attacks failed and the results were, I did not see anything over L60. However, I believe that L70’s are the rare chance of hitting however I have noticed many L60+ Rangers and Rogues which means that they can detect up to L80. So I suggest avoiding these until you have reached L90. Furthermore I personally suggest leaving them alone until you have a L100 thief to raid the settlement. (Better safe than sorry right?)

When I have completed the first T3 Raid I will post it on the wiki and here for all to see. I hope this helps a little.

Lord of the Dance hits L50!

WorlockL50A few weeks ago, I hit L50 with all my Warlocks and knowing that I have a researching minion that not only gives me Research hourly! but does 952 Damage as well!

Warlocks are not the only range damage dealers but they are the only one that gives you research and grants you a solid defense for your dungeon (if setup right). The Warlock also at L50 has a decent amount of HP so it live through more than 1 hit.

I am hesitant about leveling the warlock above L50 currently because I do not know what would be the benefit of increasing it more than that unless that T3 Settlement retaliation would be harder. However, I will probably level 5 of them to L100 just for the heck of it.

Upkeep: 44x Food 77x Gold Hourly.
Training Cost: 800 Gold / 800 Crystal / 400 Primordial Water / 300 Food.

What..? L80 Thief?!

ThiefL80

That is correct, so I have been doing a lot of leveling for creatures lately and I ended up reaching a L80. I have posted a lot of information on [ Dungeon Overlord Wiki ] regarding the raiding Settlements. However, after doing innumerable raids against T2 Settlements I have not gained anything more than the 1650 (max) loot. Therefore, I’ve decided to still hold off from raiding T3 Settlements until L100 which is around the block.

T3 Settlements: My theory is that there are L70 (max level) in the settlements. I have recently lunched 5 L1 Thieves against the T3 Settlement to gauge if there is anything higher than L70. However, if my theory holds true that there is only a Max Level of 70, than once at L100 I can loot with 100%  success of not begin caught and a slim chance at L90. Once the results come in from the raids, I will leave a remark.
